Director of the Hollins Fund

Roanoke, VA

   Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking qualified candidates for Director of the Hollins Fund position.  

   Under the supervision of the Vice President for External Relations, the Director of the Hollins Fund manages the Hollins annual giving program and is responsible for the planning, implementation, and execution of strategies and activities to meet revenue goals. Additionally, the Director supervises the work of the Assistant Director of the Hollins Fund. 

   Successful applicants must have a bachelor's degree, knowledge of annual giving programs, and at least five years of fundraising experience in annual giving programs or four years of development experience. 

   Applicants must have a valid United States driver's license and willingness to travel by ground and air throughout the United States and to work nights and weekends as needed.

Faculty, Educational Leadership

The University of Texas Permian Basin - 2020-11-19

Odessa, TX

   The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB), Department of Educational Leadership, is accepting applications for the position of an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Educational Leadership (tenure-earning). 

   Duties include teaching graduate courses and supervision of leadership practica and related field-based experiences. 

   Additional responsibilities include developing grant proposals, directing funded projects, developing university/school/community partnerships, and providing service to the community, school districts, agencies, and professional organizations. Faculty credentials must meet university requirements for classification as UTPB graduate faculty,

   The position will begin in Fall 2021; however, an earlier start may be possible.

Associate VP for Grants, Sponsored Projects, and Research

Millersville University - 2020-11-19

Millersville, PA

   The Office of the Provost welcomes applications for an Associate VP for Grants, Sponsored Projects, and Research. The Associate Vice President reports to the Provost/V.P. for Academic Affairs and will coordinate grants, sponsored projects, and research activity across the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) through Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

   Applicants must have a Master's Degree from an accredited institution; 8 years of experience in grant and contract administration; 3 years of experience managing personnel; administrative experience in higher education; demonstrated experience with developing effective partnerships; and policies, procedures, and strategies to facilitate grant applications. They also need knowledge of electronic research administration programs and federal procurement regulations, experience with the successful administration of awards, and compliance with regulations (including IRB and IACUC processes).

Chairperson - Department of Marketing

   The Chairperson's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to fulfilling department administrative duties on a 12-month contract; 6 credit hours of instructions per semester, providing academic planning for interdisciplinary departmental programs, collegial leadership for faculty, and oversight of budget, facilities, and equipment. The Chairperson must also recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff, oversee undergraduate and graduate programs, and provide department reports for various college and university areas.

   Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing (Degree must be from a university accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business --AACSB) and a demonstrated record of administrative/leadership experience.

Chief of Public Safety

Loyola Marymount University - 2020-11-12

Los Angeles, CA

    The Chief of Public Safety's primary responsibilities include leading a multifaceted unit within the department, including patrol, investigations, and dispatch, which is a 24/7/365 operation. The Chief directs budgets, personnel, and resources tied to the unit. The Chief cultivates and stewards relationships with all campus constituents and external leaders, including but not limited to police and fire departments, the FBI, and other interested entities.

   LMU seeks candidates who typically possess a Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Police Science, or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 10 years' experience working in and leading a public safety department or like team.

Professor and Director, School of Social Work

Vice President for Advancement (VPA)

   The VPA reports to the President and is the strategic leader responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to increase brand recognition, enhance the prospect pipeline, ensure a warm handoff of prospects to the Enrollment Management team, and grow alternative sources of funding through private grants, government funding, corporate partnerships, and giving among all constituent groups.

   Minimum requirements include a preferred Master's degree and at least seven years of successful experience in fundraising.

Faculty Positions in Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech / Emory University School of Medicine
