Goodwill Of Townspeople And Local Government Applauded on Twitter
The caravan of immigrant asylum seekers traveling through Mexico was treated last week to an outdoor screening of “Coco” when the caravan stopped at an unfinished bus terminal-turned-shelter in the state of Oaxaca.
Thanks to solar power, the goodwill of the townspeople and resources from the local government the migrant travelers found a safe place to sleep, eat and enjoy Pixar’s “Coco,” which they saw on an inflatable screen.
The purpose of playing the animated film was to give the travelers a moment of enjoyment before the holiday the film celebrates: Día de Muertos.
Twitter responded with overwhelming positivity commenting on the thoughtfulness to show the film despite their difficult circumstances.
